Our goal is to provide our guests with all the comforts they have at home and the memories they will share for generations!

Our family grew up on our farm/ranch in Western Kansas and we loved coming to Colorado as kids for family vacations. As our kids grew up and started having families of their own, we wanted to find a mountain property that would accommodate our extended family for reunions that would become a legacy property for generations to come.

We wanted a location that offered both great summer and winter activities, that was not on the I-70 corridor and where the locals were friendly, honest, and neighborly. After searching extensively across Colorado, we settled on the Gunnison Valley and the Almont House since it met all of our criteria. We can honestly say that our dreams of owning a mountain property where we can kickback after enjoying the great outdoors has far exceeded our expectations.

Our mission is to eventually utilize this property solely as our family vacation home but in the short-term we have decided to share it with a few select friends and guests. Our goal is to provide our guests with all the comforts they have at home and the memories they will share for generations. We invite you to come visit us in Almont and enjoy not only our home but discover the beauty and hospitality that resides in the Gunnison Valley and surrounding mountains.

A day on the river....priceless!
